after over a year of being married, i finally took my bridal bouquet apart. i was inspired to do so when i dropped by ‘A Village of Flowers’ in Hillsboro Village last week. they were selling craspedias….my wedding flower. and the only flower that survived the drying of my bouquet. the orchids were miserable, and dusty miller just looked like dried up leaves. but the craspedias were preserved perfectly. so i took them and added a little yellow love to my home, and i fear i will never part with them. it means that much more to look at them, remembering that they are from our special day. i was able to make 3 tall, thin vases of them. on these summery days, take a moment to be outside and appreciate God’s beauty all around us. happy weekend!
